Meetings—General Information
The Broward chapter of the FSMTA has its Chapter meetings on the
First Tuesday
of every month with the exception of July, due to the state convention,
and December, due to the holiday season.
Chapter meetings are open to any and all members but we also welcome nonmembers like students and non member therapists. For members, generally the meetings are free with the exception of a few occasions where there may be a fee for required CEU’s (HIV, LAW, ETHICS, PREVENTION OF MEDICAL ERRORS) and on occasion where we may have a special speaker and may ask for a nominal donation to help cover their expenses. Nonmembers pay a nominal fee to attend any and all of the meetings that they attend and may join the Broward Chapter at any time, just see our treasurer if you are at a meeting and want to join then. Chapter meetings are usually held at the
Imperial Point Hospital,
6401 North Federal Highway,
Fort Lauderdale, FL, 33308*,
in the auditorium/lecture hall. On occasion, other hospital
programs may be held on the same night that we hold our meeting and
we
may
hold our meeting at another venue.

Normally we use an email blast to inform members of last minute changes,
we will also post changes to the website, so please make sure that you
are on our email list and check the website frequently.
The board meetings are held on the last Tuesday of every month. Mostly
just the board members attend these, but any member may attend, just
please let us know ahead of time if you would like to so that we may
accommodate for space.
