Brief bio - While licensed in FL since 2005, John was a therapist in PA starting in 1986 where he worked with pro body builders to help increase muscle mass after workouts. He has been a FSMTA member since 2005, teaches massage therapy at a local massage school and is a CEU provider for Aromatherapy. John is a finalist for the US Olympic team (as an official therapist) for the 2012 Olympics in London.

Bief bio - Craig joined the Broward Chapter as a student 1996, became a full member 1997. 1998 he joined the sports chair committee working with Al Durso. Later that year during a board meeting he left the room, upon returning he found that he was Sports & Events Chair, from 1996 to 2007. Craig coordinated sports teams for the American Cancer Society, Red Ribbon Rides, Bike It & Bear It Bike Rides, Smart Ride, MS Society, local events at Imperial Point Hospital, local charities, massaging Broward County & State politicians. He also helped raise money for Ground Zero police & fire volunteers. During these years (upon leaving & returning to the room) he moved through several board positions beginning with Second VP, First VP, and finally President. Through out all those years he worked closely with then President Mark Zidar gaining much needed experience. He also started with Janet Wiseman (his wife now) the states first chapter Web Site, E-mail contacts, and was Editor of the Electronic and Hard copy News Letter, all the while handling Sports & Events. Craig helped design a logo for our Broward Chapter polo shirts and had them manufactured for the membership (they're still available), put together committee’s for Holiday Parties and helped out with Broward’s pre-convention Massage Fair. Craig has also received FSMTA’s Sports Massage award three times, Chapter Service Award three times.

Brief bio: Bob attended Florida Atlantic University to obtain his Legal Assistant Certificate and received a Certificate from FAU in Personal Fitness Training. Bob was appointed to the Florida Board of Massage Therapy by Gov. Chiles and served as the continuing education chair as well as the newsletter chair. He has served as chapter Bylaws/Ethics Chair and Elections chair since far too long. He also served as the Education chair, refreshment chair and A/V chair. He currently serves on the FSMTA State Bylaws/Constitution Committee. He has served on the Massage program advisory committees for Broward Community College and Atlantic Vocational. He also served on the Florida Dept. of Education Technical Advisory Committee for Health Sciences. Bob has dedicated countless hours of volunteer service to the massage profession and is a recipient of the Charles Canfield Award, FSMTA President’s Award, AMTA Distinguished Service Award, FSMTA Broward Chapter LMT of the Year Award, and FSMTA Convention Volunteer of the Year Award. He was one of the first LMTs to receive NCBTMB certification and has been a member of both the AMTA and FSMTA since 1984. As an instructor for entry level training and continuing education Bob specialized in laws, rules, ethics and medical errors. His career in massage has involved working with a Chiropractor and his private practice. Most notable was his 20 years as the sole in house LMT at a private country club. He currently maintains his private practice as well as his pursuit of a career in law.

Brief bio - Jason Latona attended the American Institute of Massage Therapy and been a licensed massage therapist since 1994. His previous service to the Broward Chapter includes being the Newsletter Chairman from 2000 to 2003, and being part of the chapter’s Sports Massage Team since 1995. Jason also holds a Masters degree in Exercise Science from Florida Atlantic University, and is a Certified Health Fitness Specialist through the American College of Sports Medicine, and is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Additionally, Jason is an Adjunct Professor at the Broward College in the Wellness Department since 1996, where he teaches various Health and Wellness courses, as well as being a substitute teacher in the college’s Massage Therapy program.
